The hell is up with the PC everyone is equal and capable of doing anything. THEY'RE NOT! The point of a live action is retelling the story as it is. Astrid is black, they have Chinese vikings, and ruff Nutt is a fucking fat ass. Wtf.

the way I was so proud of Dream Works for making this movie exactly the same. I know they changed some characters, but I truly didn't care that much. stop complaining about this movie. People like comparing to the bullshit movies from Disney this was 10/10

better than the cartoon version in my opinion. they did a great job of copying the cartoon version and making it just as good or better. one of the best films to try and do so in many years!

OK they had some changes with some of the non main characters, but overall it was solid! not blonde, not twins etc..... it's a live action and some things will be changed. I give it a 99.9 on execution!!!

as i a massive dragon fan irl and a huge fan of the httyd franchise I came into this movie hoping it was gonna be good and I was surprised I loved every part of the movie and the dragon designs are baddass especially the monstrous nightmare which is my favorite live action dragon
