John Carpenter didn't want to make anymore Halloween movies with Michael Myers in them because he felt like the character had run it's course after he made the 2nd Halloween film. He wanted to do a series of different Halloween movies with different stories.

I even googled Michael Myers Halloween 3 movie and this movie kept popping up.... unless I'm tripping this is the official Michael Myers Halloween 3 movie but obviously NO Michael Myers except for Halloween Part One being advertised playing at the movie theater 🎃 Happy Halloween

instead of everyone complaining about it not having Micheal Myers in it maybe they should remember he was locked up in the end of the second one. I think I'm not sure I recently finished the second Halloween.

it's actually a good movie, it just doesn't belong in the Halloween series, at least you got to hear some of the music when it was being watched on the TV lol
